Hare Madhav

True Devotion for True Master : Hare Madhav Satsang- English

|| Hare Madhav Dayal Ki Daya ||

|| Lagan Lagi Hai Tumse Meri, Ab Kya Karen Madhav Jiyo ||
|| Humri Suno Mere Pyaare, Virah Agan Bahut Jalave ||
|| Mohe Din Aur Raat Naahi, Neend Bhookh Naahi Laage ||

Beloved devotees seated in the pious shelter of Akah possessor of Bhajan Simran True Master, many many greetings of ‘Satguru Parv’ to all.

May our love, faith, and devotion be accepted in the lotus feet of Lord Hare Madhav Satguru. We imperfect & lowly beings pray in Your reverence O Satguru! Bless us with Your pious shelter, persistent faith, profound love, and attachment to Your lotus feet. May the strings of selfless love & devotion of us fragment souls be inseparably connected to You. O, True Emperor! Listen to this pleading, bestow us Your love like the Chakor bird (Partridge) has with the Moon; O patron of the poor! Bestow us love like Meera, longing like Shabri, and emotions like Vidur. This is our prayer to You in lesser words of affection, please bless us with the ambrosia of love.

Sadh Sangat Ji! Why do we call for -sunlight? Why do all beings, flowers, leaves, and branches await the rays of the Sun? This is because the rise of the Sun marks the rise of all our lives. Similarly, when Lord Satguru incarnates, the wisdom of devotion, the wisdom of supreme knowledge, and the wisdom of liberation start flowing and the beings start to awaken; this is the true glory of ‘Satguru Parv’.

We must give a thought about how we used to be earlier and now, what we have transcended into. What all did we lose earlier and now, what all have we procured? It is all because the supreme light has manifested in the form of Lord Satguru Baba Ishwar Shah Sahib Ji & He has blessed all the beings with His grace, devotion, selfless service & pious sermons. To experience the supreme light of Lord Satguru and kindle our lives with it is the true essence of ‘Satguru Parv’.

Beloved disciples of Lord Hare Madhav! Today, it is the divine occasion of ‘Satguru Parv’, and this Satsang Vaani narrating the wisdom of love, longing & attachment with the Lord Satguru is extracted from the writings of Satguru Baba Narayan Shah Sahib Ji. Through this Vaani, His Holiness explains that a yearning soul is so deeply devoted to the love of its True Master that it finds no value in life without Him. Today’s Satsang is jeweled by the wisdom of love & longing for the Lord’s True Master, and its glory is well sung in Yatharth Gurmat. The blessed souls, who endlessly love the Accomplished True Master of the present time, attain ultimate joy & peace and settle in the abode of the Supreme Lord.

True Master Satguru Baba Narayan Shah Sahib Ji renounced His scholarly in the love of Lord True Master. His Holiness developed true & profound love & dedication of His True Master and ultimately became one with His divine form; such is the glory of true love. One must have an intense longing for the True Master on the spiritual path. His Holiness possessed intense longing for His Master and never let his faith & love shaken even for an instant; In His pious Vaani, His Holiness has revealed the same love & longing.

|| Lagan Lagi Hai Tumse Meri, Ab Kya Karen Madhav Jiyo ||

Guru Sahiban Ji explains O beings! For those who are yearning intensely for their beloved True Master, their love for the supreme is nothing new as the tale of this love has been an open book since the primal beginning. It is said—

|| Humri Suno Mere Pyaare, Virah Agan Bahut Jalave ||

The agony of separation from their beloved True Master discomforts a devotee in and out, his heart floods with the True Master’s memories & remembrance which rises sweet pain within and deepens the longing; as His Holiness has vocalized in Vaani-

|| Lagan Lagi Hai Tumse Meri, Ab Kya Karen Madhav Jiyo ||
|| Humri Suno Mere Pyaare, Virah Agan Bahut Jalave ||

In the Hare Madhav Yatharth Santmat Vachan Updesh 87, Present True Master states, “Love for Lord True Master makes the beings realize the ultimate truth and ‘divine love’ becomes the sole purpose of their life. The spiritual path of Hare Madhav is the path of immense divine love and devotion toward the supreme. In this context, His Holiness further states that ‘true love is the identity of Lord Hare Madhav and so of the soul. The Hare Madhav Lord has filled the beings with His divine attributes, when the being adheres to the Sadh Sangat (Supreme company), the divine attribute of love evolves within him, for the Lord True Master, which ultimately unifies him to the Supreme, and he attains eternal bliss.”

His Holiness explains that for the disciples who are immersed in the love & reverence of the True Master, nothing pleases them besides their beloved Master. They become restless & forget about their own well-being. Sadh Sangat Ji! Those who have never experienced a yearning for the True Master have not yet consumed the ambrosia of love.

|| Mohe Din Aur Raat Naahi, Neend Bhookh Naahi Laage ||
|| Pyara Mukhra Daras Tu Devo, Main Gunah Ati Bahu Bhaari ||

His Holiness vocalizes, for the disciples sheltered in the divine company, engrossed in the True Master’s selfless service, meditation, remembrance & love, the True Master becomes their only support & hope. People who despite being in the holy company of the True Master do not abide by His divine sermons, always remain trapped in the illusory web. The Gurumukh disciples lead their lives happily under the divine command of the True Master and are the fortunate ones. True love makes the disciples completely dependent upon Lord’s True Master and such love, develops patience, contentment, faith, loyalty, and a sense of obedience; it helps them accept all the pleasures and sorrows as the gift of God and keep their mind adhered to the Lord True Master’s love. They attain such heights of contentment that worldly graphs cannot cause them to stumble and endure all the ups and downs of life. This is the reason when Mansoor was given the death penalty, he accepted it smilingly. When Guru Arjun Dev Ji was made to sit on the hot plate, He accepted it as His God’s will “Tera Bhaana Meetha Lage” and sacrificed himself. Similarly, with complete faith in Satguru Baba Madhav Shah Sahib Ji, Satguru Baba Narayan Shah Sahib Ji accepted His command and fearlessly jumped over a bridge into the river. By faithfully obeying the commands of beloved Satguru Baba Madhav Shah Sahib Ji and possessing immense love for Satguru, He became one with the Supreme.

The Present True Master Satguru Baba Ishwar Shah Sahib Ji, since His childhood, would always remain engrossed in the selfless service of His True Master. Even after numerous hindrances, societal taunts, and opinions, His Holiness would always remain immersed in the love of His beloved True Master and dwell in the Parmatva state, in the highest state of inner spiritual realms. Then, His Holiness Lord True Master opened the spiritual treasure through holy congregations (Sadhsangat); whoever adheres to it with utter love & devotion, His Holiness takes their soul along to the supreme abode.

In the Hare Madhav Yatharth Sampoorn Santmat Vachan Updesh 33, His Holiness Satguru Baba Ishwar Shah Sahib Ji has vocalized this to a scholar, “The indescribable Supreme Lord is not a subject to debate upon through your knowledge, rather He is a divine experience that one gains through internal meditation. It is impossible to describe or experience Him through scholarly discussions. The Supreme is an internal divine experience and the possessor of Bhajan Simran True Masters are its experience holders.”

Saiji vocalizes in Vaani about the sweet pain of true love & attachment with Lord Satguru-

|| Pyaara Mukhda Daras Tu Devo, Main Gunah Ati Bahu Bhaari ||
|| Prem Mera Tum Hi Jaano, Madhav Mere Praan Sahaare ||
|| Nain Tapke Ghat Me Bhatke, Roop Tumhara Main Dekhan Hoon ||
|| Chahu Ore Pukara Maram Na Jaana, Apna Premi Pyara Melo ||

In this Hare Madhav Vaani, souls are praying out of love & pain of separation from the beloved True Master-

|| Pyaara Mukhda Daras Tu Devo, Main Gunah Ati Bahu Bhaari ||

A separated soul, with the hope of Lord Satguru’s pious Darshana, cries out, Oh my Hariraya Satguru Ji! Only You are aware of my love and the pain of separation, You’re the only support & strength in my life-

|| Prem Mera Tum Hi Jaano, Madhav Mere Praan Sahaare ||
|| Nain Tapke Ghat Me Bhatke, Roop Tumhara Main Dekhan Hoon ||

It is a time of great anguish for a disciple. With a desire to behold a glimpse of beloved Satguru, he seems to be drowning in the burning ocean of separation. When not able to behold the holy Darshana, he becomes restless; there is no peace in his soul.

For a loving disciple, it’s very difficult to bear the pain of separation, yet he never gives up this passion and love. Those whose faith keeps shaking, give up easily and switch their paths but the true disciple’s utter faith for his beloved Lord Satguru keeps on increasing over time. Sometimes he prays or flatters before his beloved Satguru as the separation troubles him. He keeps remembering Satguru’s glimpse and yearns desperately. Sometimes he complains out of love, “O Master! When I was trapped in the web of the world and the pleasures of materialism; when I was a sinner, You held my hand and saved me. O Sai! If You intended to push me away like this, why did You save me? I’d continue to commit sins & remain malicious, why did You save me? Why did you let me drench in Your divine love?” The disciple complains out of love and regret as well for his mistakes and says, “Sai Ji! Your will is above all. May Your divine love be always there in my heart; may I always remain in Your shelter.”

Sadh Sangat Ji! Lord Satguru very well knows what His disciple is experiencing and He also guides about which experience is a trap of evil kaal and which is full of divine light. The compassionate Satguru explains and warns us through His sermons about every secret of love, separation, and meditation. His Holiness Satguru Baba Ishwarshah Ji, procured the Parmatva state & oneness in Supreme and disclosed the treasures of spirituality & glorified the divine love through His sermons & Vaanis that love for the Lord Satguru is high, strange, and unique. The one who gets absorbed in it rises above the barriers of religion, caste & creed. When the Lord Satguru graces, the being’s heart purifies and fills with profound love and longing. His emotional state becomes unexplainable. Just as a sugar crystal dissolves in the water, similarly, the detached soul, while in love with its beloved Satguru, becomes His form.

It is proclaimed in Upnishads-

“na me bhaktash caturvedī madbhaktaḥ śvapacaḥ priyaḥ”

Even though a person is a learned scholar of Vedas, he is not accepted as My devotee if he lacks love and devotion, he is not dear to me. The one who possesses My love & devotion, despite -being mute (dumb) is very much dear to Me.

O Beloveds! To experience love and agony of intense longing is a difficult pathway but a soul has to tread on it to attain oneness with the supreme. Make the most out of this state of separation. While experiencing such pain, meditate upon the ambrosial Naam bestowed by the True Master and experience divine happiness. The intense longing for the Satguru will help you behold the divine form of Lord Satguru within and also procure Darshana of His magnificent physical form. Therefore, develop an intense longing for the True Master and meditate upon Him; trust the Lord Satguru and you shall have no regrets. Let your heart long for Him like this-

|| Nain Tapke Ghat Me Bhatke, Roop Tumhara Main Dekhan Hoon ||

Sai Ji! Our life is useless without Your pious Darshana. Sache Patshah Ji! When we head to our hometowns away from our pious feet or when we go on Spiritual tours for the salvation of beings, our condition turns very miserable, we try a lot to persuade our heart but nothing convinces it. Sache Patshah Ji! I long for You with each passing breath, I keep calling You.

|| Chahu Ore Pukara Maram Na Jaana, Apna Premi Pyara Melo ||

Sai Ji! We separated souls keep calling in love, we cannot live without your Holy Glimpse (Darshan), nothing helps console our heart, like a stubborn child, my heart anyhow wants to behold Your holy glimpse. My heart is too stubborn and it wants but Your Darshan. O My Madhave! Bless me with your Pious eternal Glimpse.

|| Pyaara Mukhda Daras Tu Devo, Main Gunah Ati Bahu Bhaari ||
|| Nain Tapke Ghat Me Bhatke, Roop Tumhara Main Dekhan Hoon ||
|| Chahu Ore Pukara Maram Na Jaana, Apna Premi Pyara Melo ||

On the spiritual journey, without the love & devotion for the True Master, we cannot detach our minds from worldly temptations or rise above the dilemmas & delusions. O devotees! People tend to waste their precious breaths regretting the past or worrying about the future but the loving disciples surrender their thoughts & life to the beloved True Master and hence live carefreely, fearlessly, and in bliss. True love for the beloved Satguru frees us from worldly love. A loving disciple constantly remembers & reveres beloved Satguru and also complains to Him out of love. Alike Meera and Shabri, a disciple loves the beloved Satguru unswervingly and this is his gesture of worship; this is his rite and this is his ritual. He renounces all his wants & desires in the love of beloved Satguru which leads him to procure the eternal fruits within from the Lord Satguru. Remember! That what he procures can never be expressed through words. Whoever is blessed with the love for Lord Satguru is- blessed with the elixir of oneness (Samadhi) with the Supreme. The disciples possessing a love for the True Master are never pleased by worldly possessions & people. Love & devotion for True Master builds a fence around our mind to protect it from vices. O, devotee! Dissolve your I-ness in the love of Lord Satguru and your Ahankara shall vanish. With the blessings of Lord Satguru, you will realize what true elixir is and what Rabiyat is.

Satguru Baba Narayan Shah Sahib Ji vocalizes that until your mind loses itself while beholding the Darshana of beloved Satguru, it cannot be tamed. Behold the pious Darshana of the Present True Master constantly with utmost love such that nothing else can distract you, simply behold His Darshana. While beholding His Darshana, the helpless state of not being able to shift your eyes anywhere else in the state of profound love. Such a loving disciple doesn’t even let his eye blink at that time. Sadh Sangat Ji! To Behold True Master’s Darshana with love is the true Ibadat (worship).

His Holiness says, a disciple possessing true love is too helpless and this helplessness is obvious in the love for True Master. His Holiness further explains, O being! Darshana means to dissolve your I-ness in the Lord; the fortunate souls behold the Darshana of Agam Lord and transcend into the form of Agam. O beings! Darshana of the physical form of Lord Satguru helps us procure a glimpse of divine radiance within. Darshana of the physical form is the medium to attain the Darshana of formlessness within. Keep meditating upon the Naam bestowed by the True Master, when your soul starts to long for divine Parmatva Darshana within, the Lord Satguru blesses the Parmatva glimpse within. It is the supreme blessing of Lord Satguru. Remember! To bless the beings with the Parmatva glimpse or not depends upon the beloved Satguru’s will.

Dear devotees! Wherever the disciple is, near or far, the Accomplished Lord Satguru bestows His divine Parmatva Darshana on the disciple. Countless disciples narrate in their experience how Lord Satguru eradicated their agonies by blessing His Darshana even in dreams. We all must have analyzed and realized that when we behold the Darshana of Lord Satguru in the Sadhsangat, our burden of karma seems to be reduced, and our devotion and love seem to be enhanced. A divine aura wraps our emotions & thoughts. The more we immerse in it, the more we procure its bliss and experience.

Sadh Sangat Ji! In the Hare Madhav Yatharth Santmat Vachan Updesh 140, listen to what His Holiness explains, “Just like an electrical wire is connected to a refrigerator, produces coolness; and if connected to a heater, produces heat; while the wire remains the same. Similarly, O fragments of Lord! If you tether your wire-like mind with the illusory world, it shall evolve but sorrows for you. If you tether it with the love of Lord Satguru, there shall be the shower of elixir within and you will attain true calm. Thus, always tether your mind with the love for True Master.”

A true disciple always rejoices in the ecstasy of love for the Lord Satguru-

|| Prem Mera Tum Hi Jaano, Madhav Mere Praan Sahaare ||

Only the one who consumes the food can experience its taste and not the one who hasn’t yet consumed it. To possess love for the Satguru is the first step of the spiritual ladder. A devotee filled with such love says, “I am neither a doer nor a sufferer. Neither do I succeed, nor do I fail. I neither win – nor do I lose. My Lord True Master is the all-doer. I am nothing and nothing belongs to me for I’ve surrendered my complete self to Him.

|| Ji Sab Kuch Tera Mere Madhav Ji ||
|| Mere Madhav Ji Mere Sahib Ji ||
|| Sab Kuch Tera Kuch Naahi Mera, Mere Data Satguran ||
|| Tera Karaya Sab Ye Sara ||
|| ‘Daas Ishwar Vinti Karat Hai ||
|| Ji Sab Kuch Hai Tera Karaya ||
|| Mere Hariraye Mere Piyare, Sab Teri Akulayi ||
|| Sab Teri Qudrat Qurbana Ji ||
|| Ji Sab Kuch Tera Mere Madhav Ji ||

O beings of the Lord! All should possess such emotions. Those who seek contentment must have such thoughts, “I am incapable of doing anything, whether You make me do anything or not, it’s Your will; whether You take me along or not, it’s Your will.” Leave all your worries upon Lord Satguru. The indescribable Lord who has created and regulated the whole multiverse, who rises and sets the Sun, who causes the waves to rise high in the vast oceans, that supreme Almighty shall certainly regulate your mind and life too.

It doesn’t mean that you just have to sit back & relax; no, karma is a must but remember, the action or karma must not develop I-ness in you. The supreme experienced True Master Baba Ishwar Shah Sahib Ji explains not to board the boat of I-ness or ego, do not let ego overpower you. O, dear! The emotion of ‘Love and fear of losing this love’ scents our souls. From the pious company of Lord Satguru, a loving disciple must learn to preserve the grace of Satguru within himself. Keep praying for love and fear of losing love. Thus it is said, “Jina Mann Bhay, Tina Mann Bhav”.

Such fear develops deep love and this love develops devotion. How a disciple pleads in love and separation from Hariraya Satguru, His Holiness vocalizes in Vani-

|| Mera Koi Tujh Bin Nahin, Jis Syon Mein Karun Pukara ||
|| Mere Piyare Kab Miloge, Virah Satave Dard Bahu Bhave ||
|| Kahe ‘Narayan Shah’ Sunho Pyaron, Satguru Prem Ghat Ghat Chaya ||

O devotees! Love is boundless. The disciple can do or say whatever he wants to because, in the love of the True Master, the disciple speaks precious and loving words like a child and complain as well out of love. The disciple says, just as a student who is not interested in studies won’t study even after being beaten up by the teacher, similarly, I do not like any other thing except the love and union with my Satguru. My parents, friends, and relatives also taunt me saying what kind of addiction is this, but they don’t know after numerous constant efforts I have developed an eternal love for my Satguru and now, I do not desire anything else but True Master’s love. I am in a strange dilemma. I cannot leave my Satguru while my Satguru doesn’t pay any attention to me. O, True Master! You’ll be able to do justice to us only when You become helpless in love like us or else not. Understand our condition, have mercy on us and bless us with your pious glimpse (Darshana). O Hare Madhav Lord! Without You, this life seems more bitter than poison, my life is meaningless without You. I don’t want any luxuries of this world, but only your love, for You, are mine and I am Yours.

|| Mera Koi Tujh Bin Naahi, Jis Syon Main Karun Pukara ||

O Lord Satguru! I write letters to You but You don’t answer them, nothing pleases me in that situation. I even tried asking renowned astrologists, when will I meet my Lord, True Master? When will I behold His glimpse? All their predicted dates have passed but I did not procure Your Darshana. Now You tell me O Satguru! Was their calculation wrong or was it my misfortune?

“It is difficult to pass even a moment without You”

“With great immense fortune, I Found You”

“O, Hare Madhav Baba! For ages, my soul had wandered in search of You”

O, True Master! My eyes keep brimming for You. I used to hope of beholding Your Darshana at least in dreams, but even sleep has become my enemy. O, True Master! Such has become my state that my eyes can shed tears no more. I doubt if I have been cursed by an enemy that You do not pay heed to my pitiful state. O, True Master! Tell me, what other than taunts, tears & pain of separation have I received after loving You? Now my only prayer in Your pious feet is, either let me come to You or You come to bestow me Your Darshana.

O devotees of Hare Madhav Lord! One must possess yearning like a partridge bird for the moon. A devotee should regularly seek the pious glimpse of Satguru. His Holiness, the possessor of Bhajan Simran Satguru Ji glorifies the divine love in His Vaani-

|| Mann Mein Preet Lagi, Mohe Satguru Charnan Ki ||
|| Darshan Bin Mohe Feeka Laage, Virah Agan Mein Tadpu Ji ||
|| Sunaho Madhav Pyare, Preet Lagi Mohe Satguru Charnan Ki ||
|| ‘Daas Ishwar’ Mastane Bhaye, Jo Hare Madhav Na Bisre Ji ||
|| Satguru Prabhu Madhav Data, Mohe Avar Liv Na Laage Ji ||

O Being! Your love for True Master should be such that separation from Him even for a minute becomes unbearable. Perceive the love of Supreme Hare Madhav Lord by drenching in the love of Accomplished True Master.

Hare Madhav Amrit Vachan Bhaaga Saakhi Updesh 354 states, His Holiness, to awaken the beings trapped in the delusions of the mind, travels to the secluded places as well and organizes the divine congregations with the sole objective of spreading the wisdom of devotion, sermons of Yatharth Santmat and divine Vaanis amongst all mankind and enlighten their long-dormant soul. His Holiness travels to various cities, villages, and foreign countries as well to kindle the light of devotion within all beings. This gracious Sakhi is picked up from one of His Holiness’ spiritual travels. In February month of the year 2013, His Holiness Satguru Baba Ishwar Shah Sahib Ji’s caravan was returning from Gondia (Maharashtra) to Madhav Nagar Katni. The caravan was going to pass through a village named Kochewahi (Dist. Balaghat), the disciples from that village were standing in the way with the hope that Hare Madhav Baba Ji would bless their village with His lotus feet. The disciples longed for His Holiness’ Darshana. Among the group of disciples was a loving devotee who was standing along with some elderly people in his village. His heart was yearning to behold His Holiness’ Darshana. When His Holiness’ divine caravan reached there, people welcomed His Holiness by showering flowers, and the whole village echoed with the joyful chants of ‘Hare Madhav, Hare Madhav’. While everyone in the village was rejoicing in ecstasy, this disciple also appeared before Baba Ji with his tearful eyes, offered some flowers, and pleaded, “Guru Maharaj Ji! Please bless my cottage with Your divine presence.” He kept on pleading with love & humbleness to  Baba Ji to grace his cottage. His Holiness was pleased by the humble prayer of this devotee.

|| Bhagat Tere Mann Bhawande ||
|| Tu Bhagtan Ka Bhagat Tumhare, Mere Preetam Praan Adhare ||

The devotee’s love was accepted. Such love is glorified in Gurwani as-

“Prem Thagauri Paai Rijhai, Gobind Mann Mohiya Jeeo”
“Santan Ke Parsadi Agadh, Kanthe Lage Sohiya Jeeo”

His Holiness asked the Sewadars to head towards that devotee’s cottage; the devotee’s happiness knew no limits. When His Holiness reached there, the devotee’s family beheld the True Master’s Darshana with love and all of them were in tears. His Holiness Bhagat Vatsal Satguru stood there gazing upon them with compassion. As the family realized that His Holiness was still standing, they recalled that there was no clean seat or wooden bench upon which His Holiness could be seated. The family was in tears and sought forgiveness, O Baba Ji! Where should we ask You to be seated, we don’t have even a single fresh sheet, such is our miserable state. Please forgive us O Satguru.

His Holiness Bhagat Vatsal Satguru Ji said, “O devotees! Don’t worry, your hearts possess true love & devotion which is the truest of wealth.” His Holiness held the devotee’s hand and said, O disciple! Even the crude hut of a devotional disciple is none less than heaven. The family rejoiced on hearing these words. His Holiness saw that one of the elderly members was hiding an old & torn sheet. His Holiness smilingly said, “So clever of you! Why are you hiding such a beautiful silk sheet? Spread this silk sheet here.” They hesitatingly spread the sheet and were still in tears out of love. His Holiness gazed upon all of them with motherly love and sat upon the same sheet.

It is therefore sung in the Hare Madhav Vani-

|| Bhagat Tere Mann Bhawande ||
|| Tu Bhagtan Ka Bhagat Tumhare, Mere Preetam Praan Adhare ||
|| Kahe ‘Madhav Shah’ Sunaho Re Pyaron, Bhagtan Ka Satguru Data Pyara ||
|| Bhagtan Paya Tere Bhagat Ka Bhandara, Tin Bhagtan Ka Tu Eko Pyara ||

O dear beings of Hare Madhav Lord! The Lord True Master has deep affection with the devotees full of profound love.

|| Bhagat Tere Mann Bhawande ||
|| Tu Bhagtan Ka Bhagat Tumhare, Mere Preetam Praan Adhare ||

It was a hot summer day, His Holiness asked him to make buttermilk and whatever else they had prepared for lunch. Obeying the True Master’s words, he went inside. He had already prepared everything to offer His Holiness but was hesitant to serve dry & ordinary meals before Babaji; he kept weeping.

His Holiness then asked another Sewadar, “Go inside and bring the meal. Do not hide anything, bring whatever is prepared.” The humble Sewadar went and brought the same. His Holiness said to the beloved devotee, “Bhagat Ji! Sing the Bhajans as well which is the meal to the soul.”

He started to sing these devotional praises out of love-

O Satguru! Keep blessing me with your love

And keep me attached to Your pious shelter

My only hope & faith is upon You

You are my one & only support O Satguru.

Everyone seeks love

but the true love lies in Your reverence

You are the treasure of love

And Your glory is unfathomable

It is Your supreme kindness that You shower love upon all.

Please do not ever forsake me

For You & only You are my everything

You are the giver of true Bhakti

You are the all-knowing Lord

You are the Supreme Master, we only revere You.

His Holiness had those thick & dry Rotis (Indian bread) along with the buttermilk & then asked others also to have them. A disciple standing nearby was thinking, “Baba Ji always consumes less and easy to digest meals but these Rotis are too hard to eat yet His Holiness is consuming them. I’m afraid it might affect His health.”

The disciple shared his feelings out of concern with Guru Mata Ji and sister Anju. They said, “Divine are the spectacles of True Master; it is the saga of love between True Master & His beloved disciples. His Holiness listens to the disciples’ pleas and graces them. The disciples filled with divine love are dear to Him. Certainly, your concern is genuine enough. Guru Maharaj Ji always remains concerned for the welfare of His disciples and never cares about His health, so it must be the prime duty of us disciples as well to take care of His health and state. His Holiness is pleased by the humble love of disciples and becomes their life support system.

O devotees! We all must deepen our love for Lord’s True Master. After gracing the humble disciple & his family, the divine caravan of His Holiness proceeded further. On the way, beholding a serene place, His Holiness commanded the caravan to stop and then said to all the Sewadars, “I know you’re all concerned but did you notice the devotee’s, profound love? His emotions were humble & pure; had I not visited his place or accepted his offerings, his heart would be hurt. When there is love from both ends, nothing else matters but love.”

O devotees of Hare Madhav Lord! Greatest of the great is the glory of compassionate & all-capable True Master. His Holiness vocalized this Vaani of Samatva Prem-

|| Jin Mann Prem Hai Re Bhai, Tinka Maram Na Jaane Koi ||
|| Preeti Jis Mann Hove Bhai, So Hari Se Preeti Laayi ||
|| Guru Ke Shabad Se Hove Prakasha, Antar Maahi Hove Ananda ||
|| Kahe ‘Daas Ishwar’ Aise Premi Jan Melo, Jis Ye Hai Preeti Dhaari ||

His Holiness vocalized, devotion and love of a devotee towards His True Master is a divine spectacle of Samatva Bhakti Yog. One who possesses such divine emotions can bear all the troubles and miseries happily. The troubles can only affect the physical body but the blissful soul remains untouched by them. Listening to these pious sermons, all the Sewadars were in tears and they pleaded, “O Lord! Grace us!”

His Holiness smilingly commanded him to proceed with the caravan.

O devotees! Lord True Master can only be pleased by true love & nothing else.

|| Prem Ke Tum Ho Bhukhe Sai, Tum Ho Bhav Ke Daata Gosai ||
|| Sada Sada Prem Ka Jo Amrit Chakhe, Tin Bhagtan Ka Tu Eko Pyara ||
|| ‘Daas Ishwar’ Vinti Kare Ih, Satguru Data Premi Jan Melo ||
|| Dhool Taki Jar Jar Jeeva, Charan Kamal Tere Dhoye Dhoye Peeva ||

O, souls! The love & longing for Lord’s True Master flourishes our barren mind with profound devotion. It brings joy to our Mann, Buddhi & Chitta and purity to our thoughts. O beings! Adhere to the True Master’s love & devotion with pure emotions, for this is an incredible penance. Always pray to seek love & devotion towards the True Master which removes the layers of delusions from the mind. Rise above the temptations of this world and remain immersed in the devotion towards True Master for it shall easily help you procure unison with the Hare Madhav formless Lord.

The Supreme Lord created the wheel of birth and death but didn’t give the key to come out of it. The Jeevan Mukta Parmatma i.e. Parmatva Satguru, the possessor of Bhajan Simran Satguru releases the soul from this wheel. He constantly showers His gracious elixir in various forms, it is His divine will. The Parmatva Satguru sometimes with silence, with a glance of grace, sometimes with nectarine words or scolding, sometimes through divine Leelas, sometimes by vocalizing divine Vaani & sermons bestows the beings with devotion, the art of true meditation, Sewa and through various enlightening Yuktis, He releases the beings from darkness of delusions to enlighten them with divine radiance.

To procure the auspicious shelter of such enlightened Lord Satguru and rejoice in the ambrosial bliss is the true essence of ‘Satguru Parv’. Today, on this pious occasion, we should pray to our compassionate True Master, “O Lord Satguru! We plead in Your reverence to bless us with the emotion of Your love & devotion. O my Satguru! The true fulfillment of life lies only in Your pious feet. Your holy Darshana eradicates all our miseries and sorrows. Listen to this plea, for I am Your child. May I always remain tied to Your love & devotion? We seek but Your love, longing, and dedication to serving You; O my Satguru Ji, my Madhav Ji.

|| Mere Piyare Kab Miloge, Virah Satave Dard Bahu Bhave ||
 || Kahe ‘Narayan Shah’ Sunho Pyaron, Satguru Prem Ghat Ghat Chaya ||
